Dr. Craig Aldinger is a Pittsburgh native, who grew up in Mt. Lebanon. He started with Greentree Animal Clinic in December 2022. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Wittenberg University and attended Veterinary School at The Ohio State University. He started as a large animal equine Vet in Kentucky and then made his way into small animal medicine where he found his passion.
Veterinarian
Dr. Lindsay Buchanan is a native of the greater Pittsburgh area where she developed her love of animals and veterinary medicine through riding horses and caring for the many family pets on her parent’s farm. She chose to move south to Alabama for some sunshine and earned both her bachelor’s (2011) and veterinary degrees (2016) at Auburn University. Dr. Buchanan then moved to Connecticut where she completed a 1-year equine internship before deciding to move back to the Pittsburgh area in 2017 to be nearer to family. She then made the switch to small animal practice and has been practicing locally. Dr. Buchanan has special interests in internal medicine, pain management, palliative, and end-of-life care, as well as acupuncture and alternative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and their two dogs, traveling, watching sports, and finding new places to eat good food!
Veterinarian
Dr. Rena Kennedy, a native of Mt. Lebanon, received both a BA in Biology and a BA in German language and history from Washington & Jefferson College. She then moved to Germany to study environmental science until moving to the Midwest to earn her veterinary degree from the University of Illinois.
She has been a practicing veterinarian in the Western Pennsylvania area for several years. Throughout her career, Dr. Kennedy has gained valuable experience in small animal practice, emergency practice, and shelter medicine. She has worked in small animal clinics and at various shelters, as well as with multiple rescues. This diverse background has equipped her with a broad skill set and the ability to handle a wide range of medical cases.
She believes in fostering strong relationships with pet owners and empowering them with knowledge to ensure their pets lead happy and healthy lives.
In her spare time, Dr. Kennedy enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family. She resides in the South Hills with her husband, son, cat, and dog.
Dr. Yo, VMD
Veterinarian
Dr. Yo graduated from Vet school in 2012 from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. In 2023 she and her husband moved to “The Burgh” for her husband’s work. After taking her US board exam she obtained a Veterinary Licence to work in the states. Dr. Yo and her husband brought their cat Hemingway across the ocean to enjoy the American adventure with them. Beside work, Dr. Yo enjoys singing in the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale, playing and listening to music, and enjoys the outdoors while hiking the beautiful parks of Pittsburgh.
Hannah Thomas, VMD
Veterinarian
I grew up in Bethal Park and went to Bethal Park highschool. I went to the University of Findlay for undergrad and Lincoln Memorial University for Veterinary School. I currently live in West Virginia with my husband Chad and two dogs Gus and Kingsley, two cats Luna and Minnie and 40 chickens. My favorite thing to do in my free time is reading, gardening, crocheting, hiking, kayaking and spending time with my family who live in the Tri-State area.
Lauren Beatty, VMD
Veterinarian
Dr. Lauren Beatty, a native of western Pennsylvania, received a BS in Animal Sciences from Penn State University and then earned her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
She has been a practicing veterinarian in the Pittsburgh area for several years. Throughout her career, Dr. Beatty has gained valuable experience in various veterinary settings. She has worked in small animal clinics, emergency hospitals, and even volunteered her services in underserved communities. This diverse background has equipped her with a broad skill set and the ability to handle a wide range of medical cases.

Bryn Kreider, VMD
Veterinarian
Dr. Kreider grew up in a small town north of Philadelphia. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience at Pitt prior to getting her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She currently lives in Pittsburgh with her two cats, Thomas and Arthur, and her golden retriever Gus. When she is not caring for patients and her pets, Dr. Kreider enjoys hiking, playing guitar, and traveling.
Tierney Kelly, VMD
Part-Owner/Medical Director
Dr. Tierney Kelly was born and raised in the south hills of Pittsburgh. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Richmond and received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006.
Dr. Kelly worked as a technician at Greentree Animal Clinic during the summers of 2000, 2001, and 2002. She returned as a veterinarian in 2007. Dr. Kelly keeps busy raising two boys and a little dog with her husband. When she isn’t working, Dr. Kelly enjoys reading when she can (rarely), eating ice cream when she can (as often as possible), and crocheting (when the mood strikes).
David Brown, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. David Brown joined Greentree Animal Clinic in the winter of 2014, although he has been living and working in Pittsburgh since 2011. He is originally from Gaffney, South Carolina, where he still visits his family and friends as often as he can. After graduating from veterinary school at the University of Georgia in 2007, he worked in Greenville, South Carolina, for five years, where he met his wife, Melissa, a Pittsburgh native.
After accruing many memories, friends, and pets, he and Melissa moved to ‘The Burgh,’ where they have accrued even more memories and friends, and where the pet count is currently at two. They have Meatball, the pomeranian, and Winky, the one-eyed cat. Aside from his family and veterinary medicine, his passions are Clemson football, golf, and the warmer months in Pittsburgh.
Shannon McCune, VMD
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Shannon McCune joined Greentree Animal Clinic in May 2017. She is a Pittsburgh native, having grown up on a horse farm north of the city with her five siblings. She received her bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University in 2006, majoring in animal sciences and minoring in equine science. In 2010, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she started her veterinary career at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. There she completed a one-year small animal internship.
She then moved back to the Pittsburgh area and has since been practicing locally. In 2014, Dr. Sullivan earned her Small Animal Acupuncture Certification in order to offer more therapeutic options to her patients. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and acupuncture/holistic medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Paul and their three children. Dr. McCune also enjoys running and all outdoor activities.
Meghan Fincher, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Meghan Fincher is a native of northeastern Ohio and earned her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Ohio State University in 2004 and 2008. Dr. Fincher served three years in the United States Army. Following that, she spent seven years living in the San Francisco Bay area. In fall 2017, she and her family headed back East and settled in Pittsburgh.
Dr. Fincher lives with her husband, four children, two dogs, one cat, a bearded dragon, and a giant rabbit (yes, it is the zoo you’re picturing). She enjoys traveling, hiking, and all things outdoors, especially water activities!
Annie Collier, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Annie Collier grew up in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, and attended Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School in Coraopolis, where she played soccer. She went to Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and played on the women’s rugby team while earning her bachelor’s degree in biology. After graduating from Trinity College, Dr. Collier attended Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her veterinary degree in 2018.
Dr. Collier is Fear Free certified, and she has a special love for exotic companion animals. In her free time, Dr. Collier enjoys spending time with friends and family. Her family includes a rescue dog and two small parrots. She also enjoys exercising, playing sports, and outdoor activities.
Helena Fox, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Helena Fox grew up in Van Buren, Arkansas. She attended Van Buren High School, where she played soccer and developed a taste for sweet tea. Dr. Fox attended The Ohio State University for her undergraduate bachelor’s degree in biology and her veterinary degree from the college of veterinary medicine. Here, she developed her clinical skills and discovered invaluable friendships. Dr. Fox moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for the wonderful opportunity at Greentree Animal Clinic, and she aspires to become part of the welcoming Pittsburgh community!
In her free time, Dr. Fox enjoys watching movies, discovering new restaurants, traveling, and hiking. She has seen over 1600 movies, and she has been to 12 different countries. While she does not currently have any pets, Dr. Fox dotes on her parents’ two cats, Mr. Primrose and Porkchop, and hopes to have cats of her own someday!

Kenneth Spokane
Practice Director
Ken was raised in Forest Hills, an eastern suburb of Pittsburgh, and has now lived in the South Hills area for more than 25 years. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Penn State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Robert Morris University.
Ken has many years of veterinary and human healthcare management experience, including areas of expertise in finance, operations/facilities, and administration. His most notable position for 13 years was the Hospital Administrator/Chief Executive Officer of Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center. Ken likes to spend time with family, friends, and Rocky (the Labrador) when not working. He also enjoys yard work, working out, and traveling.
Joyce Jenkins
Director of Employee & Client Relations
Joyce is a western Pennsylvania native. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in marketing and psychology from West Virginia University and her master’s degree in industrial relations from St. Francis University. Joyce has worked in the corporate world as well as in both human and veterinary medicine. She joined our team at Greentree Animal Clinic in 2009. If she’s not busy at the office, Joyce can be found with her husband and two grown sons, cuddling with her four kitties, or baking the best cookies in the world.
Director of Clinic Operations
Jackie is a Pittsburgh native growing up in the South Hills and now living in Cecil Township. She has always had a passion for all animals. She graduated from Otterbein University in 2013 with an animal science degree and minor in business. Jackie joined Greentree Animal Clinic in 2015, coming from a large animal practice. When she is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time on the farm with her three dogs and showing her horses on the weekends.
Tami Fantoni
Operations Manager
Tami was born in California and moved to Pittsburgh for our weather. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh. Tami worked at Greentree Animal Clinic from 1998 to 2007 and returned to us in 2015. When she’s not busy working, Tami enjoys the local music scene and her little kitty but spends most of her time marveling at how quickly her two boys are growing up.
Front Office Manager – South
Nancy is one of our Front Office Assistants. She grew up in Brookline but now resides in Whitehall. She has two dogs and seven cats. In her free time she likes to browse flea markets and read a good book. She has a special interest in crystals and Reiki.
Lynn Baird

Lynn grew up in Coraopolis and currently lives in West Mifflin with her husband.
She retired from Fedex after working there for 25 years in the accounting department.
She loves spending time with family, especially her grandchildren; as well as making memories at the beach, amusement park or “Sunday Fundays.”

Kathy McShane
Accounting Manager
Kathy recently moved back to Pittsburgh after an extended stay in Louisiana. She has been an accountant for many years, working in the restaurant business before joining Greentree Animal Clinic in 2003. She is enjoying her time in ‘The Burgh,’ reconnecting with family and friends.
Veterinary Technician Shift Supervisor and Scheduling Coordinator
Brittany is a Pittsburgh native and graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in 2011. She has an unwavering passion for helping animals in need and has spent many hours helping lost and stray dogs and cats in the area (she swears by rotisserie chicken as bait). Brittany has been helping patients at Greentree Animal Clinic since 2013.
Greentree Animal Clinic South Inventory Manager
Sandi joined the Greentree Animal Clinic team in 2018. She is an Ohio native who now resides in Pittsburgh with her husband, Dan. Sandi has a sincere interest in surgery, bringing years of experience to the table. Her smile can brighten up any room, and her laugh is contagious! She enjoys spending her spare time with her two dogs and three cats.
Veterinary Technician Shift Supervisor
Lexi is a Pittsburgh native who grew up loving animals. She began professionally caring for them at a large shelter in 2016. She transitioned to a local emergency/specialty hospital to expand her experience and knowledge. Realizing this was definitely the career choice for her, Lexi enrolled in school at the Vet Tech Institute in July 2018 to pursue her certification. When Lexi isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan, two trouble-making cats and a dog (Cash).

Veronica has been with us since the fall of 2020. She is our pharmacy technician and fills in as a veterinary technician when we need an extra hand. When she is not working, she enjoys singing, being a single mom, and rescuing animals.
Haley Hallinan, CVT
Veterinary Technician
Haley is from Altoona and moved to Pittsburgh in 2012. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in 2014. Her passion is dentistry, and Haley has experience volunteering at wildlife rehabilitation centers. When Haley is not pet sitting or singing with her band, she loves to spend time with her three cats. Haley has been with us since February 2019!

DeNita became part of the Greentree Animal Clinic family at the beginning of the new year as a veterinary technician. She has been a technician since 2009. When she is not working, she loves to travel, ride her motorcycle, and hang out with her friends and family.

Veterinary Technician
Helen is a Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist and has been with us as a veterinary technician since October 2020. She likes to create things, whether cooking/baking, crafting, or crocheting, in her free time. Helen also loves spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors (camping and fishing).

Indira started with us back in August 2020. She brings years of experience with her from the humane society. When she is not working, Indira loves to travel around the world to experience other cultures. Her dog, Hazel, is pictured in the photo with her.

Cari grew up in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, and went to the Vet Tech Institute right after high school. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in 2008 and started her career in emergency medicine at Pittsburgh Veterinary Specialty & Emergency Center. When she’s not at work she is being kept busy by her young daughter, Ava, who can’t get enough of her two cats, Ruger and Bullet.

Michelle is a Pittsburgh native who has spent some time living in the sunny state of Florida. She enjoys spending time with her husband training their four labs named Gunner, Charlie, Temi, and Marv. Michelle loves eating pizza, snacking on guacamole, and watching murder mysteries. She is a Will Farrell fanatic and aspiring archery enthusiast.

Alyssa grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, IL, and moved to Pittsburgh in 2020. She currently lives in Mt. Lebanon with her husband and three dogs: Penny, Wrigley, and Pippa. In her free time, Alyssa loves spending time with family, working on home renovations, running and exploring new breweries in the area.

Kaitlyn is a Pittsburgh native and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Humane Leadership from Duquesne University in 2017. She has worked with animals for over 10 years and joined our team in October of 2022. When she’s not working, she spends her time with her husband Josh, and their two boys, Lucas and Elliott. They currently reside in the South Hills and have 4 cats (Penelope, Ellie, Ben, and Trout) and a bearded dragon (Stanley). In her down time, Kaitlyn enjoys reading, watching documentaries, and doing art projects.

Leann recently became a grandmother to a beautiful grandson. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors in the Summer.

I grew up in Athens PA but currently living in Pittsburgh. I have two cats, Pumpkin and Leroy. I enjoy running and am currently training for my 6th Pittsburgh half marathon. I went to school for drawing/painting and love to do pet portraits.

Gabby joined the Greentree Animal Clinic front office team in April 2019. She has had love and compassion for all animals since she was a small child. Gabby brings prior experience in the veterinary world as well as in human medical offices. In her spare time, Gabby enjoys spending time with her son, daughter, and two dogs.
Assistant Accounting Manager
Hannah has been working at Greentree Animal Clinic since November 2018. Her prior customer service experience is in human medical clinics. Her favorite part of this job is meeting all the adorable fur babies and their parents, which shows in her kindness and compassion. Hannah lives in Bethel Park with her husband, two sons, a daughter, and three cats. In addition to loving working at the clinic, Hannah also enjoys beach and Disney vacations with her family.

Jodi joined Greentree Animal Clinic in December 2019. She lives in Scott Township with her husband, Mike, cat Peaches and sweet pup, Kenzi. Jodi moved to Pittsburgh in 2006 to attend Point Park University, where she earned a master’s degree in journalism. After ten years working as a journalist, she switched careers to become a delivery driver. Jodi joined GAC full-time in June 2022. In her free time, she enjoys running and fitness, listening to audiobooks, and walks with Kenzi.

Christyn grew up in Westmoreland County and started with us in January 2021. She has always had a passion for helping animals in need and is very active in animal rescue. She has 10 rescue cats, 2 dogs and a snake. When she isn’t working she enjoys spending time with her perfect Husky, Kiki.

Kara was born in Rochester, New York but grew up in Peters Township. Kara works hard in our front office. When she’s not working, she loves spending time with her family and her beloved fur babies, her dog Mika, and her two cats Percy and Bryce. Kara joined our team in October of 2019.

Maureen grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is the mother of four children, three dogs, and one cat. In her free time, she enjoys singing in her band Stomp N’ Hollar, exercising, and reading. Maureen joined the front office team at Greentree Animal Clinic in August 2018 and brightens the clinic with her smiling face and team spirit!

Front Office Assistant
Joyce joined the team at Greentree Animal Clinic in the summer of 2020. After spending years in the worker’s compensation field, she retired from handling injured employees to helping animals get the care they need. As part of the front office staff, she enjoys the day-to-day interaction with clients while getting a daily dose of “happy” seeing all the pets. Spare time is spent walking, reading, and spending time with her family and her precious dog, Ellie – the only slightly spoiled Bichon.

Shannon graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in June of 2021. In her free time, she likes to cook for her family and friends as well as spend time with her two cats.

They currently have a German Sheperd named Trigger and a fish named Kirby. She enjoys hiking, horseback riding, being outdoors, traveling, and taking day trips to explore.

I have lived in Pittsburgh my whole life. I am a mom to my sweet two year old son and two fur babies, Luna and Bo. Luna is a big English Mastiff and Bo is a handsome Newfoundland/Mastiff mix. My husband and I have been married for 9 years and enjoy fishing as a family and vacationing to the outer banks every year.

I grew up in Mt. Lebanon and currently live in Scott Township. I have a 10 year old rescue Shih Tzu named Max. I have had almost every type of animal imaginable. My favorite season is summer and I try to visit the beach as often as possible.

I graduated from The Median School of Allied Health in 2002 with an Associates degree in Veterinary Technology. In my free time, I like to spend time with my son and Freya. I also enjoy baking.

I grew up in western PA and currently reside in Mt. Lebanon with my husband and our small zoo. We have two dogs, Major and Lucy, a bearded dragon named Noni and two birds Pip and Neo. I am currently working on obtaining my CVT, as I have always had a special place in my heart for animals. If i’m not spending time with our little zoo you can find me working on an art project or tending to my many plants.
