Dr. Shannon Sullivan joined Greentree Animal Clinic in May of 2017. She is a Pittsburgh native, having grown up on a horse farm north of the city with her five siblings. She received her Bachelors Degree from Pennsylvania State University in 2006, majoring in Animal Sciences and minoring in Equine Science. In 2010, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she started her veterinary career at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Here she completed a one year Small Animal Internship.
She then moved back to the Pittsburgh Area and has been practicing locally since. In 2014, Dr. Sullivan earned her Small Animal Acupuncture Certification in order to offer more therapeutic options to her patients. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and acupuncture/holistic medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Paul, and son Luke, as well as running and all outdoor activities.
